Our School Virtues & Awards

At SCELS, all of our students and staff are placed into one of our Three Houses. Robert Munsch’s RED House, Eric Carle’s BLUE House, and Dr. Seuss’ GREEN House. Through ongoing points and tokens earned through upholding the many school virtues, our students gain a spirited sense of competition and pride in their school. We host many Spirit Days and special assemblies where students gather to cheer for their house, and celebrate the wins together.

Each month, SCELS focuses on one of our School Virtues as a theme, and selected students are awarded for their efforts upholding that virtue in their class. They are as follows:

Friendship, Cooperation, Respect, Peace and Unity, Courage, Love & Kindness, Responsibility, Honesty, Confidence, Determination.
