Parent Committee Events

The SCELS Parent Committee is an active, welcoming group that plays a vital role in our school community. From organizing events to supporting staff and students, our parent volunteers make SCELS an even richer place to learn and grow.

How the Parent Committee Works

The Parent Committee meets once a month to discuss upcoming events, fundraising initiatives, workshops, and ways to support our staff and students. All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend — we deeply value the time and energy our families bring.

Ways to Get Involved

There's a role for everyone in our parent community:

  • Parent Committee — monthly meetings, event planning, fundraising
  • Library Committee — supporting the Jen Cumming Library
  • Class Parents — connecting families within each classroom
  • Parent Ambassadors — welcoming new families to the SCELS community

Thank you to our wonderful parent community!
