SCELS has been an integral part of our family for over 6 years. We have had three children attend this incredibly warm, supportive environment. It was important to us to have a school that let each of them build the confidence in their own abilities prior to joining larger private schools in Toronto. SCELS provided the opportunity for each of them to shine and excel in their own unique ways. The community, parents, teachers and students are cherished by our family and we will miss them when we move on.

SCELS has been an incredibly special place for my family. I have had the pleasure of seeing how the school has grown since 2006 when my son first started in nursery school at SCELS. Since then, my three children have all flourished or are flourishing as a consequence of the foundation they received at SCELS.

Something very special has happened over the last two years with my daughter– she seems to have a very genuine interest in learning and articulating her thoughts. She was captivated by this year’s Family Night Exhibition music theme and still talks about last year’s space theme. She talks enthusiastically about her interest in math, and art, and singing and dancing. She has a favourite place in the house where she likes to sit with books and flip through them on her own.

She has had a wonderful environment in which to learn: supportive, happy, challenging, joyous, interesting, and her teachers can each take credit for providing and nurturing that environment. We have been incredibly fortunate to have had the staff at SCELS as teachers, guides and cheerleaders.

My daughter attended St. Clement’s Early Learning School for full-time nursery last year, and has just finished full-time junior kindergarten there. She will be returning for senior kindergarten next year, and we couldn’t be happier with our journey so far.

From the moment we joined the SCELS community, my daughter has absolutely loved the school. It’s been incredible to see how much she has grown, both academically and personally, during her time at SCELS. The nurturing environment, supportive staff, and engaging programs have truly made a difference. I am amazed at how quickly she learned to read and write, and it’s wonderful to watch her confidence flourish as she explores new subjects and builds friendships.

The SCELS parent community has given our family a great sense of belonging. We look forward to another fantastic year as our daughter enters senior kindergarten.

We have been a part of the SCELS community for the past six years, and we absolutely love it here. My two children attended SCELS from Nursery right through to Primary and each year, their teachers were attentive, caring, and truly supportive to their individual learning styles. When my daughter was diagnosed with a health condition, the entire team was incredibly diligent at attending to her needs at all times and went over and beyond to ensure she felt comfortable and safe while continuing to play and learn with her friends. The community and staff members are so phenomenal, and we can’t wait to visit as often as we can. SCELS is truly like a second home.
